Gear Up & Go: The ’80s Medical Relay

Break out your sweatbands, lace up your high-tops, and get ready to race through respiratory history! The 2025 CRCS State Conference is throwing it way back this year with our first-ever Gear Up & Go: The 80s Medical Relay—a high-energy, totally rad event that’s part team challenge, part throwback fun, and all heart-pumping excitement.

This relay will take place on Monday, June 9th, at 1:15 PM, right outside the Exhibitor Hall (just after lunch). It isn’t just about speed—it’s about teamwork, clinical knowledge, and quick thinking under pressure. Teams will race through medical-themed stations, from setting up PPE Gear to completing intubations. Think “emergency room meets game show,” all set to an epic 80s soundtrack.

👟 Team Details: a team relay consisting of four people, so grab your coworkers, conference buddies, or that vendor with the best 80s dance moves and sign up together! Flying solo? No worries — we’ll pair you with other solo superstars to form a team of four. Everyone is welcome!

💾 Why Join?  Because this isn’t your average conference activity, it's a chance to bond with colleagues, hilariously test your skills, and maybe even take home some bragging rights (and yes, there will be prizes for the fastest and most creative teams). Bonus points for neon scrubs, ’80s jumpsuits, leg warmers, and big hair!
